Privacy notice.
Short and with no fine print: what data this site collects, what we use it for, and how to opt out whenever you want.
Last updated: August 21, 2026Who is responsible
Yuzupup, S.A.S. de C.V. (in formation), acting through its legal representative, with address at Ave. Manuel Gómez Morín 350, Oficina PB6A-11, Col. Valle del Campestre, 66265 San Pedro Garza García, N.L. (between Privada Cristal and Avenida del Roble), corporate email admin@yuzupup.com, is responsible for the personal data this website collects, including the waiting list. This notice covers only the site and the waiting list; the app will have its own privacy notice when it becomes available.
For any questions about this notice or about how we handle your personal data, you can write to us at privacy@yummster.app.
What data we collect
- Your email address, only if you choose to join the waiting list, along with the language of the page you signed up from, and your first name, only if you choose to type it (optional; used solely to address you by name in our emails).
- Your preferred language, separately: if you pick a language on the site, that preference is stored locally in your browser only to take you to the right version. That value never leaves your device.
- Your privacy choice, stored locally in your browser for up to six months so we do not ask again on every page. That value records only whether anonymous analytics is allowed and never leaves your device.
This website collects no health or allergy data. Any allergy settings you eventually configure in the app are governed by the app's notice, and our permanent rule is that they are never shared, never sold, and never used for anything but your recommendations.
Cookies and anonymous analytics
We use essential browser storage only to remember your language and privacy choice. These preferences are necessary for the choices you make on the site to work and are not used to track you.
PostHog analytics is disabled by default and is not requested until you actively select "Allow anonymous analytics." If you allow it, PostHog's European Union service counts page views and the waiting-list conversion in anonymous, memory-only mode. We disable analytics cookies, local or session storage identity, user identification, autocapture, session recording, surveys, performance capture, and feature flags. The waiting-list event contains only the page language; your email is never sent to PostHog.
You can refuse without losing access to any part of the site. You can also change or withdraw your choice at any time through "Cookie preferences" in the footer. Choosing only necessary storage prevents PostHog from loading on future pages and stops analytics capture if it was already active on the current page.
What we use your email for
- Letting you know when a spot opens in the closed beta.
- Sending you updates about the Yummster launch.
Nothing else. No spam and no lists shared with advertisers.
We process your email on the basis of your consent, which you give when you join the list and can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Your email is stored with our database infrastructure provider (Supabase), which processes it solely on Yummster's behalf and under restricted access controls. If you allow anonymous analytics, visit statistics are processed for us by PostHog. To send you the beta and launch updates you signed up for, we use Loops, an email platform; your email is shared with Loops solely for that purpose. Beyond that, we would only share data if a competent authority legally requires it.
Some of these providers may process data outside Mexico, in the United States or the European Union. When that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards so your data keeps the protection described here.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while the waiting list is active. If you ask to leave, we take it off the list and delete it within the applicable legal and operational timeframes.
Your browser keeps the analytics consent or refusal for up to six months, unless you change it earlier through the footer control. Your language preference remains on the device until you change it or clear browser storage.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO rights under Mexican law), revoke your consent, or limit the use or disclosure of your email at any time. Write to us at privacy@yummster.app, preferably from the registered email address or including a way to confirm your identity and reply to you; we will handle your request within the legally required timeframes. You can also leave the waiting list without giving a reason.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to erasure, to restrict or object to the processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
This site and the waiting list are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, we will update this page and the date above. If a change affects how we use your email, we will let you know before applying it.
